so i got a great christmas present: dice with words.

even more excitingly, they come with two dice, one for themes and the other for style. So, for instance, your housemate and companion rolls the two dice, and they come up: A Reflection on my Romantic Life or A Regret About My Life’s Work, maybe A Vision For Our World, depending on what chance gives you.

You then roll dice to get words, and form your own Haikus. In the future I look forward to playing craps with word dice in grimy streets, but for now I prefer formal haikus on second story coffee tables.

Here is what the world has given me:

Grand, flying across.
Tried, but wise after empty.
Obey as simple.
